the victoria & albert museum in london commissioned memo akten aka msa visuals to develop and design a painting application for the exhibition «imperial chinese robes from the forbidden city»
«this exhibition shows three centuries of beautiful and historic royal robes worn by the emperors and empresses of the qing dynasty, the last ruling dynasty of china (1644-1911).»
a collaboration of memo akten, elektropastete and illustrator jane laurie
inspired by the beautiful designs, we created an application allowing families and visitors of all ages to easily design, create and save their own virtual robes based on material from the exhibition. launched at the half-term drop-in week, the activity received over a thousand visitors in just the first 3 days.
